After our flight to Shanghai, our guide met us, and we traveled about an hour into the city to our hotel. The city is sprawling, and the interstates are built elevated above the regular roads. We were able to sleep from about 10:30 to 5 which was not bad for the first night of jet lag. We did make up for it by a 2.5 hour nap this afternoon.
After breakfast and Skype with Mom and the boys, our guide took us to the train station and got us settled on the train for Hangzhou.
