After lunch, we walked to the orphanage just down the street. We were able to visit with the director of the orphanage and the director of adoptions. They were very sweet and swept Rachel out of Matt's arms to walk around with her. We were concerned that would happen, but we were very pleased that she came right back to him without a whimper! So far, either of us can hold her and calm her down. We saw her classmates out for a walk. We then went to the civil affairs office and applied for her passport.
